How the Cutthroat Assassins Challenge Works
Throughout the session, teams earn chances to sabotage their opponents. One moment a team is cooking smoothly, and the next they are dealing with an unexpected twist that changes their plan. The challenge rewards quick thinking, clear communication and staying calm under pressure, all skills that carry straight back into the workplace.
Japanese Gyoza Under Pressure
The teams kicked off with Japanese gyoza. Folding each dumpling neatly takes patience and steady hands, and then each batch has to be pan-fried until golden and crispy. Just as everyone settled into a rhythm, the first sabotages arrived, and teams had to quickly regroup and keep going.
Spanish Paella With a Twist
Next up was Spanish paella, filled with saffron rice, vegetables and rich, bold flavours. Paella needs good timing and careful attention, which made it the perfect dish for more sabotages. Teams had to split tasks, back each other up and make fast decisions to get their pans finished in time.
A Sweet Summer Berries Finish
To end on a high, the teams created a fresh summer berries dessert. Bright, colourful and refreshing, it was a well-earned reward after a high-energy afternoon of cooking and competing.
